Russ is a second-generation agent and owner of the Girolamo Insurance Agency. Over the past 20 years, Russ had the privilege of working alongside both his dad, Russ Girolamo Sr. and his brother, Bob, who instilled the values that have been the cornerstone of the Girolamo Agency since 1962: being honest, transparent, and always putting the needs of the client first. 

With over two decades of experience in the industry, Russ has expertise in both personal and commercial lines of insurance. In assessing and advising on coverage, Russ prioritizes both a detailed and comprehensive approach in determining suitability for each Girolamo Insurance client.    

Born and raised in Yorktown, New York, Russ was a multi-sport athlete at Yorktown High School. It was on the playing fields where he learned the value of commitment, teamwork and perseverance, which have shaped him as both a person and a business owner. 

When not at the office, Russ is deeply connected to his community.  Russ continues to be involved in athletics through coaching football, basketball and lacrosse in his hometown of Somers, New York. He was previously a Board Member of the Somers Youth Sports Organization (SYSO).  

Russ has also been involved with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation for over 40 years.  After being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 12, Russ became involved in the foundation through volunteer roles and more recently as Fairfield-Westchester Board President, CCF Teen Alliance Director and CCF Camp Oasis LIT Director. 

Russ is a State University of New York at Purchase graduate and resides in Somers with his wife of 26 years, Allison, and his two children Russell III (16) and Olivia (12).

Stephanie joined Girolamo Insurance Agency in September 2020 as a licensed agent with over 14 years of financial services experience. Stephanie comes from American Express Company where she had various financial planning roles.  

Stephanie is thrilled to be a team member for this agency which is deeply rooted in her family.  She is Russ Girolamo Sr.’s 4th grandchild and originally hails from Yorktown, where she graduated from Yorktown High School in 2002.  Stephanie was an all-section athlete and captain of both the women’s lacrosse and soccer teams while at Yorktown.  

Stephanie holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland. Stephanie lives in Somers with her husband Matt, two sons, Bobby (6) and Luke (4), and daughter, Cara (1).

Jennifer joined Girolamo Insurance Agency in February 2019 and became a fully licensed Associate Agent by July 2019. Jennifer is delighted to be back in the insurance industry, having previously been an Insurance Planner and Registered Representative with New York Life and NYLIFE Securities for nearly 12 years, where she earned lifetime appointments for both CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).

A long term Yorktown resident, Jennifer graduated Lakeland High and has successfully launched three Yorktown High graduates into the world.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, enjoys world travel, classical music and her emoji keyboard!
